After a workout, I like to eat or drink something with a good amount of protein so that it will help my muscles recover. Normally I’ll eat a protein bar (they’re so convenient) but this time I wanted a smoothie. I made a chocolate almond butter banana smoothie and thought I’d share it with you because it was so good and healthy! I could drink this every day. Enjoy!
Raspberry Banana Smoothie
I love smoothies. They are so healthy, delicious, simple, and quick to make! Plus, you get your full serving of fruit (and veggies if you decide to slip some in). Now that the weather keeps warming, it’s nice to drink something cold and satisfying. I decided to whip up with what I had on hand and I must say, kudos to me! My raspberry banana smoothie was nutritious, delicious and oh so good!

Yield: Serves 1
Ingredients
- 1 medium banana
- 1/4 cup raspberries
- 1/4 cup soymilk (almond milk, coconut milk, etc)
- 1 tablespoon plain greek yogurt
- 1/2 cup crushed ice
Directions
Using a blender, add banana, raspberries, soymilk, plain greek yogurt, and crushed ice. Blend until everything is combined. Pour in a glass and enjoy!
