For as long as I can remember, there was always something about food that inspired me to start baking and cooking. I was always fascinated by the cooking shows on Food Network and hoped to recreate the drool worthy dishes that flashed on my TV screen. It wasn’t until I was in college when my curiosity and eagerness to start trying new recipes began. Whenever I browse through recipes and photos of food, I think, “I should make that!” From then on forward, my passion for being in the kitchen grew immensely.
I created this blog in 2011, mainly to focus on recipes that I could share with friends and family, but also to inspire others to start cooking and be creative in the kitchen. I have no professional experience, nor do I have a culinary background. I learned how to cook and bake most things on my own by watching cookie shows, channels on YouTube, and just experimenting on my own time.
Now that I’m following a vegan diet, all of my recipes from 2018 are vegan (no dairy, eggs, meat, or fish). You may come across some non-vegan dishes on my blog (prior to me being vegetarian at the time), but I’ve slowly veganized those recipes and plan to re-publish and feature them soon!
