After a workout, I like to eat or drink something with a good amount of protein so that it will help my muscles recover. Normally I’ll eat a protein bar (they’re so convenient) but this time I wanted a smoothie. I made a chocolate almond butter banana smoothie and thought I’d share it with you because it was so good and healthy! I could drink this every day. Enjoy!
Ingredients
- 1 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk (any milk will do)
- 1 small banana
- 1 scoop protein powder (your choice)
- 1 Tbs almond butter
- 1/2 Tbs unsweetened cacao powder
- Ice (I just eyeballed it…so about 1/2-1 cup)
Blend & serve.
