Hello there, fellow bakers! I hope your summer has been going well because mine has! Instead of blogging about some recent recipe I whipped up, I want to do something a little different this time.
Eating healthy is the key to being healthy, along with moderate exercise a few times per week and portion control. I’ll admit, I splurge on sweets because I have a sweet tooth but I learned to control it. By control, I mean I will try to eat 80% healthy and the 20% goes to sweets. Thanks to my boyfriend, he told me about another practice that is very similar, if not the same. It’s called Hara Hachi bu, which means eating healthy until you are 80% full.
As I’m sure you all know, breakfast is the important meal of the day and not to mention my favorite meal! You should never ever skip breakfast! That is a big no no for me. Skipping breakfast can lead to unhealthy food choices and may lead to overeating. Today I wanted to share some of my favorite breakfast meals and hope to inspire you to eat healthy and make healthy choices.
